Sod Cutter

I recently used a sod cutter to get up grass for a new flower bed. but the area was seed planted a long time ago on hard clay dirt. the cutter would not do a good job the area was level but i still had to go over it 5 or 6 times. and that was not pretty any suggestions.

You probably would've been better off using Roundup and tilling it under. Better luck next time.

Just curious, what kind of sod cutter were you using?
