You can get auxillary hydros. They also have attachments of course. And I am sure some after market company will hook you up with tracks, but I haven't looked into it.

Next year I am going to buy a Dingo mounting plate and weld it to a NH mounting bracket. That way I can use any Dingo attachment I want.

The LS125 will fit through a 36" gate with the correct tires, I chose the larger ones though.

I chose this machine because it is faster moving than a Dingo, lifts more, lifts higher, and controls like a real skid steer.

If I was doing trenching all day, I'm not sure I would 2nd guess a Dingo. Tough call on that one. The NH will do it of course, but I would think the Dingo may be better just because of how you stand on the machine. But then again, the NH can sport an auger as well. I guess it depends on how much augering you were going to do.

If you look at the 3rd picture I posted, you can see a 15' tall or so pine behind the truck. I don't know, about 8" diameter. Today he met 'Mini-Me'!

Bucket about 3' off the ground, push from one side, then go to the other side, push again. Then just go a few inches under, and rip it right out! No tooth bucket, no chain.

I tell you, this little booger is powerful.

Then we needed to load it up!

That is pretty impressive, biggest little machine I've seen. Are those trees dead? Or on the decline.

The first tree was very healthy. Full growth.

That cedar/pine had dead branches up about 5', then healthy the rest of the way, but it has been like that for 4 years. Might be normal being next to a well traveled road?

The soil around this one wasn't real hard, good soil. It made it even easier than I figured. Couple minutes and it was pushed over and ripped out.

While taking that last picture, I had a guy ask me about the machine. He was eating at BK watching. He couldn't believe that little booger got it out that fast. I felt kinda dumb standing there taking a picture of the machine. He peaked his head around the side of the truck, saw me focusing, then pulled back quick. Kinda funny. Oh Well.

Got some nice Viburnum out too. These should have stayed, but they wanted them gone.

If any of you guys don't want to go with a larger unit right now, this IS the way to go! I highly recommend it. It weighs only 2000 pounds, and can even be pulled by a small pickup truck. Rated at 700 pound lift, but can do a little more.

It is a huge time saver, and because of it's size, it can get into places our bigger one can't. Or go places where weight is a concern. Or those smaller jobs where you don't want to drag the big guy with you. It's so quick to just load and go.

But this thing really does more than it looks like it can. I have even used it to dig out 10" diameter trees. And ripping out bushes is so easy. Just pull up to the base, smack it, then lift straight up. It really can do most of what the bigger one can, just smaller and handles less weight.

LS125 is diesel and costs under $12k. LS120 is gas and at least $1k lower.

Here it is next to our bigger skid steer!

Here it is ripping out shrubs, just lift straight up!

And this is how high it can dump. That is a cabover dump truck with 3' sides!
