  • Lots of Help!!!

Ok guys I feel like im over charging my customers let me know what you would charge for this job

    I have to install 6 3gal gardenias @ $54
    3 bags of soil @ $10.50

    3 pallots of seville grass $150 per pallot= @ $450

Now this person just got a pool put in so he needs new grass cause its all sand. Now the dirt that is there is real real sandy so i have to clear out that. Its a total area of 1200sqft. If you were to dig about an inch deep its alot richer. So im charging $550 to clear the it out and drop the level about an inch.

Soil preperation is gonna be about 2hrs of labor @ $120

Im charging $30 to insatall the six gardenias

and im charging $400 to install the 3 pallots

    and delivery charge is $60

    total is $1674.5
    total with tax is $1791.18
Does this sound about right let me know soon thanks guys

Warning: Showing the tax on your invoice may need further evaluation. Everyone, and every State, is different - but make sure you aren't opening a can of worms that you can't close.

Provide an option without clearing out the sand. Florida turf, such as St. Augustine, is very tolerant of sand. Prices shown are not overcharging.

Sounds good to me. Did your customer balk at the number? Keep track of your hours on the job, expenses, and average you profits to see if your making way over your hourly.
