  • Juniper Removal

Have A Client That Wants Six Junipers Removed. Each Is Approx. 4-5feet Tall & Approx. 6-7 Feet In Diam. I Have Never Removed These Things Before. Don't They Have A Long Stringy Root System? How Hard Would It Be To Get The Main Root Up & By What Means? Trying To Figure Time For Each One. Any Help / Suggestions Greatly Appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Larry

If you can't use your truck or a skid steer, go rent a stump grinder. If you rent the cheaper grinder, you should cut the junipers down close to the ground prior to grinding.

If you rent the larger self propelled grinder, you can almost just drive the grinder right into the shrub and chew the thing out of the ground!

    Check for underground wires.
