Raised beds

I'm looking to build some raised flower beds along the side of the house but am concerned about water damage. What is the proper way to keep it from damaging the house? Building material is up in the air still but leaning toward stone.

It depends on what your putting the soil up against and how high you're going. Most of the time you shouldn't have any issues at all, especially if you are simply putting it up against concrete.
