Cole - seems doable and your sales production return per hour looks okay.

can you spray that high spot with roundup then till under and follow up with leveling it out? That way you don't have to haul anything out.

1850sf. works out to about $0.70 sf.

Too Low? If I had charged at $60 an hour for my labor the bid would have sat at about $1600 or so. I only charge $40 an hour labor on residential $60 an hour on commercial.

Anything under 5000 sq ft i charge 1.40 per sq ft, Grading is extra. No warranty on sod because water is to critical. They water it and it will live. If they dont water it it wont. period. I get that price w/ no hesitation 95 % of the time. Espesially if hills and slopes are involved. The other 5% i give a little but ive never lost a sod job. Im full time scape though so i may have differant rates than you. My maintenance rate is 44 com or res so we both have differant veiws. Im just saying you can get more for sod.

                Cole,
another way to look at this is you just worked 2 full days on this site @ 360 per day. Honestly if i havent done that by noon im not happy.

                  Seascape,
I appreciate the info. This is my second sod job ever and my first fairly large one. I will work a little more on the bid next time. Then if they don't want my business, I can work with it a little if absolutely necessary.

                  Thanks again.
