i have some questions my buisness writing class is doing a ficticious landscaping proposal. we are to bid on a shopping center but i have no measurements like i said its ficticious. but the proposal has to include the cost of landscaping and then maint. mowing, fertilizing, weeding and other related services. my question is how would something like this be priced. how would i charge to do the planting and everything then maint. and how often is maint. done. i already received prices on mulch, and some plants, but i wouldnt know how to charge for labor and main. if someone could help me put it would be greatly appreciated.

well im kinda tired but since im a true beleiver i higher education. Around here anyhow ,,, here are some typicals.
Mulch is installed @ 75-100 per yd
mowing runs about 65 an acre
plant material is installed w/ a 1 yr warrantty @ 2.5 xs what we paid for it.
All other labor like weeding and such is bid at about 45 an hour sometimes up to 65 per man hour.
as far as fert,, well easiest thing for you to do is take the cost of your mowing and multiply x 3.5 and sell 4 apps on a shopping center
