price for edging...help!!!

I'm putting together a bid for 6 commercial properties and as part of the quote they want bed edging as well as sidewalk edging broken down into individual prices. I normally edge the sidewalks as a part of the weekly mowing and have never priced it seperately. Bed edging is something I normally add in to the price of mulching. Do you guys bill it by the foot? Also another individualized price I have to give is for bed maintenance. How does one estimate the time to spray and or hand weed beds on a weekly basis?

Average up how many hours you will spend doing each using your own experience and multiply it by your hourly rate. Or, I've heard some on here as far as the edging charge $1 per foot for edging.
