  • Trac vac advice

Well, I have a really large commercial account. The leaves on the grass in the fall aren't a huge problem, its all the leaves in the parking lot. Now, this parking lot is huge! It has tons of islands with a couple trees in each. Last year i spent way too much time with trying to keep it clean, but it would seem like in a few days it would look like i hadn't done any work at all! My question is, would one of those Trac Vac systems that you can pull behind your mower be a good way to go? I don't want to spend a ton of money but would it be a good investment or a waste of money?

I have a Billy Goat and blowing is always faster. Hard to get a vac under a car, I use my vac for clean up after hedge trimming and for gutter clean out's and such.

Please use a 9 or 13hp push blower & Backpacks and blow the leaves to your truck's leaf vac. You may also consider a sweeper of some type.

I don't have a truck vac! I only have simple equipment like a backpack blower, small sthil hand-vac and rakes. This parking lot is very large and that kind of equipment just doesn't seem to work. Most of the leaves are usually up against the curbs so i just need something to pick them up alot easier but i don't have that much money for a truck vac.

Blow them on turf & bag w/mowers. Please purchase either a truck vac and or push blowers if you are servicing large commercial lots.
