  • large commercial bid, help

    Hello everyone,
I am going to bid on what I consider to be a large account. I understand this may be peanuts to some but it is a large account to me. I am just wanting to know the price per cut and I can figure the rest. I do know that this account takes the current crew of 5 men 3.5 hours and it is on commercial property. This would be the easiest way to tell you i guess instead of the dimensions which I dont have. It takes 2 on a mowers and the other 3 weedeating and blowing. Just curious as to what amount you current lco's would charge a company if this was your operation with your equipment with you paying the men to work. Any suggestions are always greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    bgz

A serious bid requires a serious approach ... the "current crew" is not a good indication of time or cost or efficiency or even using the right equipment or work methods. Do your own homework ... start by measuring and assessing the scope of the work.
