FERTILIZE FESCUE FREQUENTLY IN THE FALL

I'm doing applications of milorganite in september and in november I'll do something more potent. You can also buy "winterizer" but I don't know what is in it besides fertilizer.

Also doing a lot of seeding/sod for people, tilling gardens in (soon), lots of tree/shrub trimming($$$), and of couse everybody's fav-------LEAVES.

        yesterday I put up a shed for a client, next week I'm painting a building. . .

        DO WHATCHA GOTTA DO

          thanks for the replies
but like I said in my post I am looking to make sure that I hold on to the clients that I have. And I want to make sure I am doing things right. I know there is a lot of things to do in the fall, Clean ups-leave removal but I want to focus on preparing the lawns for the coming season. what routines do you guys recommend and when do you start. Fertilize, overseed,Aerate. I realy want to get good at this not just a FLY BY NIGHT if you know what i mean. Really need the help.

          Thanks

I've found that you can make the customer happy & your job easier by getting rid of those "thorn in th side" obstacles like that trampoline frame that hasn't been used in 3 years, the basketball goal post, obsolete satillite dish post, fill in wholes that jar your liver loose, find out if you can cut that limb that knocks your hat off.

Some customers like all that junk but most of them will be glad you asked if they wanted ut cleaned up. The yard will look better & it will be easier to maintain.
