I was thinking of mounting a leaf vac on my trailer and making some kind of box to hold all the junk. What size motor would i need to have a enough power. I have a older trac vac type blower that mounts on a lawn tractor, would this be enough to do what i am talking about. I believe it is 4 or 5 horse. Thanks

No you want much more power for effective cleanups in heavy leaves. I bet in OH that you are similar to my area. I have a eleven horse Billy Goat tr1104 debris loader that works well except more power would be better. So your version is underpowered in a world were more power positively impacts your bottom line. If you can finance one, get a bigger model. If financing seems unlikely it's time to get shrewd. -
A minimum 16hp is required for truck mounts. Smaller intakes & insufficient suction make anything less futile.Comment
