Leaf cleanup contracts run through Dec. 31 for us. Not exactly a surrounding state though.

PM me your email address I'll send it to you. I use Groundskeeper Pro now, but this is the form I used for three years. GKP is the best thing that happened to my business this year.

You like GKP? Tell me how you benefit from it please? I use it for some clients lists, scheduling and charges/ payments but not estimates. Creating estimates would be great but I haven't yet gotten comfortable with GKP.

          Thanks

For it to properly help you, you must commit to using every feature it has to offer. That's how it's designed to be used. I like the program because it's basically a model of a "tried and true" method of estimating, scheduling jobs, managing crews, managing customer accounts, billing, and basic accounting.

The checking account tracking is the only feature I don't use. The software isn't designed to manage accounting. For everything else it's really good. There are betters out there, but for a company the size of mine it's perfect. Fits the budget and does the job.

Workin on creating sample estimates and encouraged to focus on making them work because your right about it. This weakness that hasn't been focused and improved yet. Planning on spending time learning and using the features because of the positive effects.

You have to put in a little work to get it up to date with your current customer base. Once you can fill in everything it asks for it will work almost flawlessly.

Where do you get gkp? I bought a program not long ago with about 30 sample forms on it in word format, I have reworded, added my logo, etc. and it has worked for me but I am always open to better ideas.

Northern Illinois my last one will be about mid November. Definitely by thanksgiving though. Some are done end of October. It all depends on the property and surrounding trees. I just keep going weekly till the property is clean or the customer says so.
