Honda Harmony Xenon (plastic) decks
I was power washing my 21"w/b when I noticed a crack in the deck. The crack is on the top side of the deck just behind the left front wheel. Has anyone experienced any problems with these decks? I've had this mower for 4 or 5 years and love the way this thing mulches. I'm hoping Honda stands behind this problem because I think it is a design flaw rather than a an abuse to the mower problem. The mower is in good condition and will last several more years provided I can fix or have Honda replace the deck. Need help to resolve this problem.

If they won't warranty, JB weld.... will hold it for a long time. Besides look how long it has already lasted.

I second the JB Weld. I had a YZ250 that was probably 50% JB Weld by the time I sold it. And yes, 4-5 years is good for a push mower used commercially.Comment

You will want to trade up to an HRC commercial model & leave the Xenoy decks for housewives and weekend warriors.Comment

and people like me.. i have had one for about 4 months. it cuts good, hopefully i can get 4 or 5 years out of it. i'll admit, it sorta looks like a toy.

I have had my HRC's one for 8 years and the other for 2 years now. i just put a new motor on the first one after all this time. (21" mowers are the main mowers here) so that's 8 years of every day work.Comment
