  • Whats the going rate for leaf removal?

What does your business charge per hour?

    What equiment do you use?

I am a one man operation, Redmax 8000 backpack with truck loader. 'Bout how much do you think I should charge?

I was thinking maybe $35 an hour...

I am a one man show as well. I just bought a nice vac engine and enclose my trailer w/ plywood. I guess you could call it a truck loader. I usually charge $45-50 per hour for residencial stuff. Most of my commercial accounts can afford the work that i do so it usually is about $55-60 per hour. Thats my 2 cents.

I am also a one man show and I charge $45.00 per hour for clean ups. I usually figure out how long it will take, and then add one more hour on to that.

I average $35- $40 per man hr. I generally have one part time guy help me on fall clean-ups, we use a truckloader on the dump, echo 650 and 750, accelerator catchers on the mowers.

I do my leaves by the season. I don't do very many one time clean ups. I give the customere a set price for seasonal clean up begining October 1st through December 15th. We keep the leaves clean to include the flower beds, bushes roofs and gutters. i figure my price at 40.00 per man hour. On the occasion i get a one time clean up i charge 75.00 per hour per truck with a one hour min. With my equipment it rarely takes me over 1 hour and never over 2.

I have a Redmax 7000 and work by myself, i'm not sure what a truck loader is but I usually get $50hr. I wouldn't do it for any thing less than $45hr. especially if your by yourself.

I charge 45 to 55 an hour depending on how complicated the lawn is, lots of trees, bushes etc..I use a 8 hp walk behind blower, echo handheld, good old fashioned rakes, and my scag ztr with mulching blades.

So, do you charge more for complicated lawns or less? Charging more per hour for a complicated lawn doesn't make sense to me, since you'll make more just because the job will take longer. To charge less, unless I'm missing something, only means that your charging the same grand total for more work.

I can't imagine my cutomers paying the kind of money you're taking for fall cleanups. I'd get no work if I based my estimates on those kind of rates.

Or you could purchase a hydraulic dump trailer or body for your truck.
