  • Am I in the ball park??

    Hi to all,
Last year I just tested the waters a little to see if I would like the landscaping buisness. I seemed to of because I`m going full time next year. Pretty much have my bidding down on lawn maintenance, but could use a little advice on an hourly rate for things like pruning, leaf removal, tree trimming, etc. I`ve started out asking $35.00 per/hr. Am I in the ball park? Any opinions welcome.
    Thanks,
    N

Check local prices you might want to go a little higher on leaf removal

For leaves, I charge about $60.00 per hour + another $8-10 to haul off to the dump.

$35 TO $45 will work ... add more per hr.for any heavy duty assist rigs like chipper, leaf truck etc.

Dont confuse those services w/ Landscape,, theyre simply just maintenance. High end maintenance but none the less maintenance. If you know your material and can work a shrub or tree properly,, dont be shy about $60 and up per man hr. Leaf removal can consume alot of your time so be sure to get paid what its worth to you.

I believe your per hour cost basically will be different from one area to another depending on where you live. One county might be a highly unemployed or low paying county on average. On the other hand, the other areas can sustain paying $60.00 per hour due to a much higher wage or yearly earning average.
