Special made pants

Is there a company out there that makes lightweight breathable pants for outdoor work or something? I wear shorts now because they breath better down there in that area, but i need to switch to pants, not because of things flying into my legs, i got used to that, but because my socks keep getting so dirty and filled with grass clippings!
