Newbie looking for advise

Hi everyone,
I 'm new and I have alot of questions.
1) What is a rough estimate should I expect to pay for equipment,mower, trimmer, blower to get started. I'm leaning towards a redmax trimmer, but everything else is up in the air..

2) Anyone from Hawaii?

3) This might sound like a dumb question but it would be even dumber if you don't ask any questions. What does LLC stand for?

4) What are names of equipment that I should look for, and names that I should stay away from.

look on ebay they sell alot of good stuff. Some new and some used its all up 2 u. Here are some names Stihl, Echo, SHINDAIWA, Maruyama and Red Max. These are good brands that cost money, but if you take care of it they should last. Its real up to you some people will only go with stihl while other go with red max both good brands. Try to get what you can afford.
EX.
STIHL BR420C Magnum used 279.00,
ECHO PB-620 PROFESSIONAL used 289.00
SHINDAIWA EB-630 used 315.00
these are all back pack blowers leafblowers

What are the Chances that you were In California in the SanBernardino Area around the Years of 1995-1997?
I'm Not from Hawaii But I know some People from there.
I'm not sure what LLC means in Hawaii but here it means Limited Liability Corporation.
I'd stay away from Huffy, Murrey and any walmart brand mowers haha

i would say around 1500 to 2000. do you have a trailer and all that yet? in hawaii it might run you a little more.

what is the going rate on a yard there. i know when i was there a one bedroom aptartment was around 1300.00.

Newbie looking for advise

Thanks for the replies... No I was not in san bernidno I've never been there. I was just wondering if there were other manuf. that were like a up and comming companies with new products that are going to change the industry. I knew about shindawia, sthil,toro etc... and since I live in Hawaii far away from the new technogies and stuff. Since I will need to get everything new I just wanted to get products that industry standards...

newbie looking for advise

Hey I've been to CA. in the early 90's, I stayed in long beach, lakewood area. I'm sorry but I'm not to good with the places in CA.. If we did meet I hope it was enjoyable cause I was still in my teens, my mother and step-father were living in lakewood CA.

i lived there in 96 to 99. i was in the army at schofield. i then went to korea, then ft. bragg, then baghdad.
hawaii was the unreal. i spent so much time at the north shore. i plan to visit in the future, but i need to save some money.

i also went tothe big island for training .. PTA. mauna lau.. is that right? mauna kea. the snow is really nice there.

LLC can also stand for Limited Liability Company. Has the liability protection without the corporation headaches. Best for solo guys.
