Has anyone used or seen the hovering mower and if so how would it do on banks that would normaly be weededed? Also would it be faster to use a manual mower on a bank or a weededer?

I worked for a summer at a country club golf course and we used the Husky hover mowers for banks. They are MUCH faster than using a trimmer for mowing banks (especially if they are wide open and large). You can use them like a regular 21" mower too. When you are mowing the banks, though, the fastest way to use them is to swing them back and forth as you slowly walk down the hill. If the bank is too steep, we would tie a rope to the handle and lower the mower down the hill while we stood on top and walked back and forth along the top. Each time we would walk across the top of the bank we would lower the mower a little more down the hill to cut the next "layer" of grass. I haven't been able to find a dealer here that carries the hover mowers, but I'd definately buy one if I find one.
