    yooo....gotta question here on my tree id test that i thought would be fun to ask yall about......i'm a find the answer myself...but just curious if i would get a quick answer...or a answer at all.........

    anyways here's the question: Which of the following trees does not have monoecious flowers? A. Osage orange B. Walnut C. Swamp white oak D. Hackberry ...my answer: clueless at this time.......

    is there anyone that knows this answer without researching it? u da man if you do know it...in my book anyways

      Well, I am no expert, but I did some quick research on the web and it seems that all 4 trees you mentioned are in fact monoecious (meaning they have male & female flowers on the same tree).

        nice try...close though...sometimes it's good to double up your research...try again....i'm bout to take my test and i'll see if my research was right or not

          Technically the Osage Orange is the only Dioecious plant on the list. The Hackberry is polygamo-monoecious so I guess it's a trick question.

          I new the facts on the Walnut, Oak, and Hackberry, but I had to look up the Orange in Dirrs to be sure.

            took my test ...got a 85....answer i picked was a) Osage orange.....and it scored corretly......found my answer here: http://www.dnr.state.oh.us/forestry/...sageorange.htm
