We were going to purchase this but some problems came up and we had to back out of the deal. The owner of this mower ask if we could help him sell it and I agred. We seen pictures and this unit is in Like new shape!!!!!!! If this sounds like a good deal E-mail me at aaffordable05@aol.com and I will give you his contact info. He wants $1450 I think but might make a deal this will be delt with him though. This mower is well worth the money!!!!! I sure wish we could have followed through on it..
This is a 1997 SKAG commercial grade 36" walk behind lawn mower with Velke. Purchased new on 4/18/1997 for my 16 year old son and his summer grass cutting business. He used it for two summers, cutting about 20 yards a summer. In 1999 he went to college and it has been run only a few times a year since then. It has been stored under cover or inside since new.
We replaced the belt for the cutter deck in 2002. We just replaced the rear tires because of dry rot. We replaced the fuel line and filter this week, while cranking and inspecting the mower.
It has a Kawasaki 4-stroke manual start engine - model FB460V. The mower is a manual 5 speed with reverse - belt driven. The motor runs like it did when we got it, the oil has always been changed, and the blades are almost like new. We have original owner's manuals/product sheets on mower, motor, and Velke
It is a big heavy duty machine, and it will need to be picked up here in Memphis, TN. We can demonstrate it at delivery. I guarantee you will be satisfied or your money returned.
