Please help, does this sound right?

Ive decided to start to fertilize (granular) and I have a customer who wants me to give him a bid tomorrow for some model homes he has and I would really like to land this job.

My question is does $4.75 per sq. ft plus the cost of the fertilizer sound like a correct amount to charge. If not any input would be really helpful at this point. thanks again!!!!

just do 40 dollars for first 10,000 sq ft and 20 more for every 5,000 additional

I charge a $24 base and anywhere from $2.50 to $3.00 per 1000 sq ft. Your price sounds low but that would be comparing for my area. Get to know your competition.
