  • Business Card Magnets

I know the advertising thing has been kicked up and down the street many times, but I have had a great year after advertising with Business Card Magnets. In the past I've used fliers, business cards, newpaper ads and a billboard and nothing had come close to the response this year.

It seems that people don't throw them away, they go straight on the refrigerator and stay there holding up some paper. People that don't even like you and people that haven't ever considered using a Lawn Service keep the cards. Some of the people got the cards 4 months before calling. I was able to get a 1000 cards for around $150.00 and paid for them on the first two jobs.
Around here most of the subdivisions have steel doors and the cards are easily placed near the door lock. Some of the lazier people have left there cards on the front door for months.

I'm just starting out and was thinking of the best way to get customers. Sounds like the card magnets may be a good way to go. I know I don't ever throw any away.

I get my magnets off ebay. Excellent quality and very cheap. For me business card magnets is the way to go. You can stick them on mail boxes (but you're not suppose to..), metal front doors and metal garage doors. They seem to end up on the fridge just waiting for the grass to grow!

I'm along the coast about 100 miles west of Houston. I got the cards from Vista-Print, which orginally made my business cards. The magnetics which cost about twice what the business card do, have been about 20-1 better for business. After I started getting so many calls, I realized that I've had other businesses cards on my refrigerator for years.

I haven't done the magnets yet, but I know that they would be a hit. There is a local business guy who has them all over his car. He uses the car as the vehicle to sucess (no pun intended). A novel idea.
