Job pricing

I have recently started a lawn service business is North Ga. I want my focus to be mowing, trimming, edging, etc.. But I am getting alot of calls for seeding, and laying sod. My problem is that I don't know how to price these jobs. Can anyone help?

The way I started out was call around and figure out my cost per foot. Then I estimate how long it should take and muliutply that by my hourly rate. There are a lot of factors to think about. Once you figure out a price trow it on a thread here. I'm not the most experienced here but there are some really great guys here.
