    what do you guys think about using manual aerators for residential accounts that are not large?

    What kind are you talking about? Like a Bluebird or Ryan, absolutely recommend! Aerator sandals, not recommended!

        Personally I don't think it would get the job done. I would stick with a core aerator.

          If you have soil conditions that would allow something as chincy as that to penetrate it, you most likely won't need aeration. If that simply pokes a hole rather than remove a plug you are then compacting the soil around the hole. That works against the reason you are aerating in the first place. Dont waste your money.

            After you were done "aerating", you could probably comb your hair with that thing

            Core aeration is the only way to go.

                Not only does it need to be a core aerator, but you also have to have enough weight to penitrate a minimum of 3". Don't waste your time or money with garbage like that.
