  • my first snake of the season

i had cut the ditch line on this yard and no problems. i went back to trim and i noticed this thing laying there that won't there b/4. now i can't see as good as i used to but i did know this guy was a snake. now me, i don't kill them. in fact if i can catch them i will bring them home and put them in the woods if it is a neighborhood where there are alot of kids. BUT...... this ole boy was too big for me to play crockerdile hunter. anyway he looked at me and i looked at him and then he went on his merry way. he wasn't poisenous, is that spelled right?

I ran into a few in the yard this last week, just garden snakes but they creep me out all the same.Im glad they keep the rodents down just dont like the close encounters.

I had a water moccasin go through the reels of a JD fairway unit at the golf course once. Yikes!
