      I disagree. I vary a little depending on the yard. Sometimes mow first, sometimes trim first. I have one large lawn that requires lots of turning around obstacles. I can't take the chance if I trim first that the mower can get into every corner. But, I know exactly what I'm doing before I get out of the truck. I think about it while I'm driving...

        When I'm working by myself, I mow, trim, edge, and then blow. I always edge after mowing so I don't push the grass down when I drive over it to make turns on the driveway, etc... If your lawns are kept up consistently, then what you trim and blow after mowing will not be noticeable.

        If I have a helper, I mow while he trims and then he will edge after that and whoever finishes first will clean off the walks.
