  • Jack D. Awaits the end of May

As many of you know, Mr. Skaper of Avalawn inc. has promised to provide a pic of the readings on the hr meter so generously donated by Jack D. at the end of the busiest cutting month, May.

The point of this excercise is to unravel the mysterious longevity of Mr. Skaper's World Famous Toro Walks that recieve oil changes every three years, have air filters changed yearly, never have gas drained or Stabil added and have their blades engaged full throttle.

Jack D. has racked up 55hrs on his newest mower, a Proline/Metro/6hp Kaw 21" this season. Please consider that this unit generates $60 per hr. This single 21" has generated $3300 for Jack D. since May 1.

I make that in 1 day without getting out of the truck. I suspect Erich does also.

Please be advised that this 1k investment has paid for itself (Net) three times over in less than 18 days and will be expected to last 3 seasons. Please also note that this is but one of many units sent out to battle.

Mr. Seascape is advised that this thread is not about how much more money Jack D. makes than the General Riffraff but instead how the miraculous mowers of Avalawn inc. have survived their owner's abuse.

The employee using the 44" Toro with the hour meter likes the RPM gauge.

I will hold true to my promise and post pictures.

At the age of some of the mowers, it makes me wonder how many times they have paid for themselves.

P.S. The Lesco hydros are powerful mowers. I have never cared for pistol grips of any kind, but the mowers do have power.
