Anyone own the 36 inch zero turn the Z cat trying to find out how it is doing for you Im thinking of getting one soon and having my Hydro Ex mark 36 as a back up.... and debating if I should just get a 48 Tiger cub but these dam fences around here

I have the tiger cub 48 inch and love it.I think a 36 inch zero turn is too small for a rider imo.If you need something that small why not just get a walkbehind?. Like i said i got the cub 48 and love it no complaints at all except i wish now that i got the 52 inch instead.

They offer a 32 and a 36...test drove 2 yesterday...alot of money for that little rider. I would stick with a walkbehind personally...I just bought a 61in Tiger..thats the way to go..if they have a fence, drop the account and get accounts you can ride all the way through. I only pushmow/walkbehind 2 yards and I charge them a fortune.

I have the 42" 19hp Z Cat and like it a lot. Very rugged, nice cut. Steering controls are awesome ie good control. Only had it a few weeks so can't say too much yet. We've had so much rain here, that I'm having to be extra carful with turns on thinly grassed areas, and also get some slippage on wet grass where there are inclines. I'm still learning this machine, but will say it definately increases productivity. I almost got the 36" but saw that there wasn't much "trim edge", in fact none. I also liked the fact the 42 had offset rims with slightly wider tires. The compactness is great for smaller props, with the speed and power for bigger lawns. It's a very well built machine and nice and compact. If you want a 36" rider, I don't think you could go wrong with the Scag! IMHO
