  • How many cuts a year for residential contracts ?

    Hello, new in the biz ( 3 mos.) getting customers wanting to sign yearly contract. Just want to get an idea how many cuts a year for residential accounts in Central Florida area ? This forum is really an excellent help for anybody operating a Lawn Service !!!

    On yearly contracts I do 43 cuts. Weekly March - Oct and bi-weekly Nov - Feb But I am in Southern California.

          we start spring Cleanups in mid march. Begin cutting april. End mid november Then do fall cleanups from thanksgiving until it snows around xmas. About 26-29 cuts. North East

              I think a lot of guys in Central Fl. are at 36 cuts per year as a minimum. Other companies go up to 40, and charge accordingly. It really kind of depends on the account. A lot of people like 40 and are willing to pay for it.

              Most commercial accounts (apartments, condos, etc.) want a minimum bid and are happy at 36. Premier commercial like corporate hq, high end restaurants, etc. will pay you to come weekly, year round. But they want all the trash picked up sometimes, etc. You will learn.
              Don't forget you have to be state licensed just to use Roundup. Contact me if you need info.
