My friend and i are seriously considering mowind and trimming peoples lawns during the summer. i would like to know what would be a good price for a medium sized lawn. My friend and i would split the cash and leave 5 dollars for gas. what would be a good price???

It depends on your areas market really. I live in Kansas and make about $30/hr. Now if I lived in Kansas City I could easily make $45/hr. Dont charge per hour though, charge by the yard. I started out years ago WAY TOO CHEAP. I'd recommend starting out at about $20 per lawn if you live in a town of more than 30,000. Charge more if there are a lot of obstacles to mow around. But as I said before, it all depends on where you live. If possible learn your competitors rates.
