Truck Decals?!?!?!?!?

Looking into getting decals on our trucks, what is the price range for those of you who have done it? Also what is a good place to get it done at?

Got decals made for 2 trucks (full size Chevys) $100 paid for both trucks. Big rear window decals and a smaller ones for each side rear window. (All white) Local guy did it, I assume you can find a local graphics guy that can do it for that.

I went through a local graphics shop and had both sides of truck and tailgate done for $360.00 in vinyl. Has already paid for itself several times over. Even had a guy calling me looking for a job got my number off the truck.

I was talking with a new start up the other day. He told me he had a removal Banner that said "Accepting New Customers". He claims it real worked for him.

A clean Professional looking rig with nice lettering is worth it's weight in gold. Do Not forget the back gate that is seen most often by those following you down the road. I believe the back gate is seen by more than the sides.

I purposely left the space in the middle of the tailgate open for a magnetic "Now accepting new customers" sign.

Get your truck lettered don't use magnetics. There is very little difference in price, but a major difference in quality.

I have to agree with you about the non magnetic signs. When I first started out as a one man band I lived in a neighbor with deed restrictions. I could not park a commercial Truck over night. I used magnets to cover the lettering at night. This worked for a couple of years until some jerk made a complaint. By that time I was able to afford a grocery getter.

I'll get my truck lettered when I get a new truck. As of right now the magnets work fine on my 85' Toyota Pick me up truck..........

Here's pictures of my lettered trailer. (Hope the links work out). My neighbor is a graphics designer, vinyl installer and all it cost me was 1 month of mowing his lawn + aerating his and his bosses lawn (to let him use the company printer).

The logo concept was mine but it was animated by a guy who used to work for Disney. Kind of unorthodox but it is grabbing a lot of attention in area - people definitely remember the rig when it rolls through town.

The dragon logo is a full up color print on white vinyl using outdoor ink and covered with a UV protective coating. Don't try that at home - I am still listening to my neighbor complain about how tough and expensive it was to print it and how I should have simplified the logo and cut it all in vinyl.

trailer looks great man. I'm looking into getting an open trailer... any good ideas on signage?

Thanks!. About the signage for open trailers, I have seen some rigs that have added a metal frame to both sides of the trailer. It is made up of a channel frame welded or bolted onto the sides of trailer. They have an insert that slides into the frame kind of like the real estate signs you see in the yards of homes for sale but much bigger. Then you can just have the vinyl applied to the insert (plywood with a layer of hard vinyl sheet on it then lettered). After a few years of wear, you can just slide a new insert into the frame.

Just a thought.
