Just kicking around the idea of trying to start this type of business and was just curious what you guys thought? I coach baseball in oklahoma and we had our fields top dressed the other day and it cost us $500 a field. It's something that needs to be done every year. You could also add weed control, core aeration, and even laser leveling and construction of new fields. You could possibly work for some golf courses if you had a top dresser or rent it out to them. It's something that wouldn't have to be done just in one community you could travel around and do it. High school or college everyone has football, baseball, or soccer fields. Do you guys know anyone who does this. Or if it sounds like a good idea? responses please

$500!!!???!! My school is paying $11,000 for football and baseball. There seems to be a lot of money in this field. Wish I knew how to do it.

Can you go into more detail on what type of material and how much of it was used on how many square feet?
For $500 all I could do would be to put down some Milorganite on a two acre field and still put $200 in my pocket.Comment

We had to purchase the materials which was the sand we topdressed with ,but that's it he did the rest for $500 a field, pretty good moneyComment
