  • Bidding this Job?

I am going to bid 2 commercial buildings for someone i know ... Ive mowed them before it takes about 3 hrs with one person to do 1 job and about an hr for the other one. I was thinking I would bid 120 a week for mowing ... im not sure how much i should charge to included keeping the shrubs trimmed and the planters weeded any input... ? Also am i about right on the price for mowing?

What do you charge an hour. Take that number and put it to your estimated time. You should have a set hourly rate that you charge.... just use it. Good luck!

$30 an hour? Seems a little low to me.

That would be 40 per hr 3 hrs at 40 equals 120

It says 3hrs for one and 1hr for the other that equals 4hrs. 120 divided by 4 equals 30!

Still seems a little low to me. I have one commercial job I do and it takes me between 3.5-4 hrs to complete by myself. I get $225/week for it for mow, trim, edge and blow.

Sorry guys i thought i specified that was just for the one big job... Im charging 40 an hr plus figuring in 720 dollars a yr for maintaining the weeds and shrubs in the planters and 200 for fertilizer just twice a yr ... comes out to 436 a month for 12 months ... and i should have the numbers worked out with the owner tommorow ... already have the other one worked out at 235 a month for 12 months
