Permission to post job pics on websites??

For once I have a question that I have no idea about.

I'm redesigning my website and I want to include some pictures of landscaping ive done. Now....would I need permission from the clients if I posted pictures with their house in it? I wouldnt want one of them to see their house on my website and be all pissy with me.

Legally I believe they can't stop you. But nothing beats Good Will. Most people would be honored that you would want to show off your work of their home. I believe a quick phone call might do the trick. But Hey I am not a lawyer.

I have seen this come up in the past. From what I remember, any address information or street information on the house was removed from the picture and that was it.

can you leave this information there if the customer is ok with it?

i have a very nice shot of a yard i mow but there is the business sign and the street sign in the edge.... it gives it a nice look..
