Question for business owners.

I have been running my small business for a couple of years now, mowing for friends and neighbors (about 24 yards a wk). I am now trying to grow, my question is, what do I need other than insurance, a DBA, and things like that?
Do I need a tax number? What else might I need?

The easiest way to find out what you need for your particular area would be to call your local Chamber of Commerce. Ask them what you need to start a legit biz. They will be able to help you, and/or lead you in the correct direction.

Some cities have real good Chambers, others are not as in depth. But either way, they should be able to help you out quite a bit. Many offer all kinds of discounts and plans to help you better your business.

Do a look up online (google) with your county and state. Most counties have this information online for new businesses.
