Spray paint???

Umm... I just now thought to ask this... Last year we had a contract account in a golf course community, and one day we watched (not believing what we were seeing) the LCO who did the home across from the one we were doing take out what looked like a can of green spray paint, and paint over a brown patch in the lawn.

We were floored... Never seen anything like that before... Has anyone on here seen this???

Just wondering if it's a standard practice that I know nothing about. LOL I can't imagine it is as I haven't seen it done by anyone else. Aside from the fact that while the spot looked fairly convincing when he did it... After a couple weeks it looked hideous, and was very obvious in the middle of the yard.

There is a green lawn paint product that is out there.(supposed to be harmless to the grass) I have never used it so im not sure if it comes in a spray can or not.

people use that if they're sellling and want a quick color fix. I've used it on dead tree limbs, grass, weeds, whatever the customer wanted sprayed, I sprayed. Trick is getting the right tint.
