  • Good Looking Lawn?

    Hey guys,

Mowed this yard on Saturday. Since it was sunny and had been around 70 degrees for the past 3-4 days, the yard looked great and I couldn't help but take pics. Hopefully they will come in handy for next years flyers.

Just wanted to see what you all thought, and give ya something to look at for a change!

Nice! I don't think that's possible in Oklahoma. At least not on our bermuda.

        Thanks Lawnguy,
No offense taken PT, because you're right, all your yards should look like that.

This yard has been through everything. This summer has been one of the hottest, driest, and most humid. I was just happy to see it finally in the shape it should have been in all season.

This in not my only good looking account. I run 2 721d grasshoppers on this account. Can get it done in abkout 2 hrs...big place.

Too light in contrast? They may be. The pics were taken with no clouds in the sky.

yea, the place looks great, I think it was taken at the wrong time of day though. I wish I had a couple big places like that to cut.

                  Thanks for the input highlander,

I'll try to take some more pics when it's not quite as bright outside. This place really is beautiful. The guy takes care of all the gardens himself, and is very particular. After a good thunderstorm, he is outside picking up all limbs. You never have to worry about misplaced items. Usually comes out while i'm mowing and pays me and invites me in for a drink.

The only thing I am at this place though is the mower. He has a totally different company that does all the chemical work as I don't have the license or knowledge to apply the stuff. The last thing I would want to do is mess up his yard.

                      grasshopper,

This yard is not bagged. New, the 2 721d's were around 12,000 each. Alot of money, but money well spent as the mowers will last forever. Both are equiped with 22 hp kubota LC diesel engines, and a 61" deck. The engines will outlast the machine itself.

I have found the Grasshopper units to give a superior cut, especialy on uneven ground, and would reccomend any commercial LCO at least give them a chance.

                        One of mine.

This is the back yard, The pool is an infinity (between the steps leading to the tennis court) and behind me is a marsh and water view.

Looks like an irrigated prop, Rich? I have one similar, around 60,000 sf , real nice small estate. Fully sprinklered, just the way you like it during the hot summer.

Definately irrigated. 144,000 sq/ft of sod installed about 2 months ago. The house is not finished yet inside, but there was no expense spared. Very good customer.
