Can any of you guys tell me what is your method for cleaning leaves out of Ivy beds. Blowing was what i had planned but it seems like this is going to be a pain any way i do it. These a very large beds with overgrown ivy.

11 hp Billy Goat vac with a 6" hose is the best,,, but if you dont have one of those a rake is your best option. Some of my guys swear a "clogless" rake works better than a standard soft rake but i dont think it makes a differance.
Ive actually mowed English Ivy and Myrtle in order to clean it. Turns out really good,, and comes back in more low and compact. After a couple cuts leaves blow right over top and have to work harder to mingle in.
