small backpack

looking for small backpack blower(new). stihl 340 and redmax 5000 same price, which one? any other brands to consider better than these?

I always rave about the Makita RBL500. Good power for the size and weight. Mine always started pronto, and it has a nice feature of being able to open the choke with a blip of the throttle. Can't say how it compares to the others you mention though. They were at $299 when I got mine.

You can't go wrong with the stihl, redmax or Echo.

it would be personal preference backed by quality of the shop who sold you the machine. I own stihl and Echo and tonaka brands all good machines but I favor the stihl shoal

redmax are great machines i own 2 redmax blowers and 2 stihl blowers both great
