  • Yard Waste Removal

I have to ask... cause this is killing me.

I came home this evening and found a message on my machine. An elderly woman wanting to know what I would charge to remove several bags of yard waste that is already bagged. What she described to me on the phone when I called her back seemed like maybe 15 - 20 bags. I have a 2 hour minimum because that is what it takes me to dump and come back to town. I only quoted for one hour over the phone sight unseen (I know, this could have been a big mistake). I told her $30 to remove and she replied that she would call me back if she couldnt find anyone cheaper. Was I out of line? I was trying to be kind, and maybe add this to another dump run. Is $30 to much to pick up bagged leaves and those spikey balls from gum trees?

I dont want all the older folks talking like I am way too overpriced... what would you all of charged?

    Thanks.

i would be in the 75.00 range, but 30.00 is for the birds... the dump fee here is 7.00 unless you're on a big dump truck then it's like 25.00
