Real simple. Learn to live with them.

Was talking with one of my clients tonight about moles. He claims they had a significant problem with moles before the purchase of a Jack Russell Terrier. Since bringing home the dog, the moles have disappeared. Of course, this help explains the dig holes in the backyard. Pick your poison: Lumpy, tunneled turf, or dog-dug holes...

Lime in thier runs wher they come onto your property. It sticks to thier fur and they can slide throw the dirt as well.

I've tried about everything. In my case, my neighbor does nothing about moles so every spring they seem to migrate back into my yard. Victor spear traps seem to work, but have to be used in groups of 2 or 3. You get the added satisfaction of seeing the dead mole.

get a dog, my dog killed 6 moles in the first 2 weeks i had her. i haven't seen a mole since. i've heard you can drop burning charcoal into the holes and the carbon monoxide will kill them, but i never tried it.

Try getting rid of grubs in the yard. Apparently moles eat grubs, if they don't have anything to eat they vacate. At least that is what I have been told. I put grub-x on a yard and it seems to have helped. Just a suggestion.

I don't have too many problems with moles but gophers are a different thing. Any thoughts on killing the mighty gopher?

I think I saw in some movie a guy using C4 or dynamite shaped like field animals, but in the end the gopher still lived.

Give your 6 year old a mattock and have him stand guard over the lawn.

I killed my first mole when I was six. Stabbed the SOB in place with a pitchfork and chopped it in half with my dads mattock. I was scared it was gonna hurt my kitty kat. Afterwards it received a proper burial.
