In my area 50% of homeowners have dogs (It seems), very few actually go out there and pick it up from the lawn. Do you cut it or turn it down?

I tell my customers that if the Dog Poo is not picked up at least the night before im there and there is more than just a couple of pieces that I will charge them a $10 fee for having to do this for them. After they forget once and I charge them they usually always remember from then on. Its not our place to have to pick up dog @^!(* so by all means charge them for it dont just pick it up for free. Just let them know of your policy and how it works. It has helped me out tremendously.

Poop removal is big business. Find a service in your area and work out a referral fee with them.

This proves people will do anything for a buck.

Wasn't the dog poop there when you bid the lawn? If it was, the problem should have been addressed then. Best to bring problems up as soon as they arise.

I had the same problem with one of my accounts in not picking up before I would do there lawn. Told them several times that it really should be picked up before there lawn was to be done. I put a proslide on my w/b in the meantime and it only took a time or two with that setup to convince them! I got a little bit on the mower but my boots stayed clean!! Ever see brown stripes!!?? Take care, Bill
