Years ago I bought a tecumseh and briggs engine from them via ebay. It took THREE months of harrassing them to finally recieve the engines!
I left them a slew of phone messages and emails which mostly where ignored. In fact, I called THEIR engine supplier, a warehouse in Kansas City, and discussed the matter with them. (b/c the joint systems dude 'claimed' he put in the order...) The KC warehouse said he never did and in fact they don't like the guy....they had told him many times to take his business elsewhere.
Finally the engines arrived - too late anyhow - I already bought what I needed elsewhere. To top it off the briggs engine WAS THE WRONG ONE - some damn snowblower engine came instead. It took another WHOLE MONTH to finally receive the correct Briggs engine.
By the time I was gonna leave negitive feedback on ebay too much time had lapsed and I couldn't.
So instead I reported JS to the Florida attorney general (but I don't think any action came from it).Please view: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...d=jointsystems (when I purchased the engines his feedback wasn't as horrible as this......Hmmm, no wonder why he isn't a registered ebayer anymore.)
So anyhow -- beware of this scumbag -- it isn't pleasant doing business with him.
This thread will come up when common folk google JointSystems (or so I hope), therefore I'm holding true to my promise to the JS man that I would spread bad reviews about his Flordia based scum company.
Today I stumbled on JS from a google search - I had forgotten thier domain - thus the huge delay in this posting.
