  • Buying late/end season lawns?

A highschooler who has about 15 lawns is looking to sell them. He's going to continue to mow them until he goes to school. I've never bought lawns before what are some things to consider and especially since there end of the season lawns. What type of deal can I work out?

Yeah I was thinking about getting a contract made up to include.
    1. no soliciting any customers for at least 5 years
    2. there has to be an 80% customer return rate at begining of next season marked by the first billing cycle.
    3?

Any idea on prices that shoud be paid? lets say 15 accounts probably average 38.50 on a 28 week mow season. just guessing but he mows around my area..

Since it is the end of season, I wouldn't offer him very much. Probably just one or two mows worth. It may be hard to keep them through the winter into next spring.
