    i worked for my father part time i took over business recently , 2 ??
    how do you guys bill for cleanups (fall) dad always charged a monthly say 160.00 for the month (once a week ) not by the cut . in fall he did not charge anymore for leaf removal end of oct thru thanksgiving does this sound right ?? please help me out

    the going rate where i'm from which is IN is $35 an hour for leaf removal. thats blowing them to the curb and letting the city pick them up.

      in ma ss we can't leave them , do you charge this extra if cust has been with you for years , i have guys that charge 100.00 a month to cut 1/3 acre lawn then 300-400 in nov and dec to clean up??

        i would charge extra for hauling them away. whatever it cost you to dump them somewhere and a little extra for your time and gas.

          i did one today. i charge my hourly rate plus $100 a 16' trl. load. today i was able to blow them in the woods. i do charge more than $35 per hour.

            for those of us who have to take them away/ bag them what is the best method for picking them up? Rakes? Bag with the mower? Im just wondering what the pros do

              I have a leaf vac that I shute them into a box in the back of my landscape body...but you can always suck them up with the mower if you have a vac and a bagger...or you can bag them by hand....Garbage cans work well too

                i plan on putting up "walls" on my trailer this year and blowing the leaves right to the ramp of the trailer then raking them in. i'm thinking of 3 sides out of plywood and the ramp will be the forth, oh and a tarp over the top if it gets really full.
