  • Just registered, Hi everybody!

Hey all, this looks like a friendly and helpful place to hang out, I hope I am correct. Let me introduce myself. I am 21 years old, and am a Business student at the University of Cincinnati. I mowed my first lawn when I was 13, and it was my main income for a large part of my younger teen years. At one time, I was working at a little pasta shop, and was doing 5 lawns on my street. I was only 16, but getting 100 bucks a week from lawns and a nice little paycheck from the shop. I greatly enjoy doing yard work, it is satisfying to me, and it also is a real nice way to make money!

Skip forward to the present, I just quit from my job at Sam's Club, it was a nice little college job, but damn boring and demanded every weekend of my time. I realize I might have to work over the winter to get some cash, but my idea I've had is to try and secure a few clients to do lawns next season. I don't want to start a business with this, just take my good old Ranger and my lawn equiptment and get a few people to commit. I have already printed up a rough draft half paper, planning to just stick it in mailboxes and hope my low prices lure people in over big companies. I am not sure if thats the best route, or if there is some other way. Either way, I am thinking that the sooner the better is right on as far as getting some clients. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

    Thanks for reading and HI!

Don't offer your services for anything less than $30 an hour, or it won't be worth your time. If you go much lower than that you'd be considered a scrub/lowballer which is a dirty word on this website.

                          Dear Abby,

I am a crack dealer in Columbus who has recently been diagnosed as a
                          carrier of the HIV virus.

My parents live in a suburb of Worthington and one of my sisters, who lives
in Dublin, is married to a transvestite.

My father and mother have recently been arrested for growing and selling
marijuana and are currently dependent on my other two sisters, who are
                          prostitutes in Grove City.

I have two brothers. One is currently serving a non-parole life sentence in
Lucasville for the murder of a teenage boy in 1994.

The other brother is currently in jail awaiting trial on charges of sexual
                          misconduct with his three children.

I have recently become engaged to marry a former Thai prostitute who lives
in Atlanta and is still a part time "working girl" in a brothel.

All things considered, my main problem is this. I love my fiance and look
forward to bringing her into the family and I certainly want to be
                          totally honest with her.

Should I tell her about my cousin who is a Michigan fan?

                          Signed,
