I think many insurance companies have it in there already, and of course tacked on the extra fee. I forget what they actually called it.

Offered and denied. I had to sign a form that said it was offered.

i saw it when i read the break down on my policy. they were charging me $152 for a year worth of "terrorist insurence". i called and gave her a bag of chit, and got it removed. another scam

my nationwide policy charges 0 and the small print says uncle sam will pay 90% of the first $100 billion in losses in the country. then i guess they will change the premium. there is a bunch more in chinese that i don't have a clue what they are talking about.

Hardboiled, I think you are correct.

Bobby, I don't recall it being $150 though, it was cheaper than that on my policy I think.

I believe it was linked to my entire policy. That included the new shop, trucks, mowers, all of it. I would have to go back and check though.

But I think I have read where you fellas up north have higher rates to start off with?

the absolute cheapest commercial auto i could find was $1200 per year, times 4= $4,800. they were charging me an additional $38 per truck i think, for terrorist ins. freaking scamming bums!

Yeh that's pretty high. Even for the larger dump trucks, I'm not spending that per vehicle. Some of the trucks are pretty new and that's full coverage too.

                        That sucks.

They call it certified acts of terrorism coverage around here. From what my insurance agent told me, I am required to have the coverage for workers comp but not general liability. I don't see why everyone should be forced to suck up the bill for 9/11 or Katrina. If the same thing happend to me it would be tough sh*t on me.

I laughed in my agents face and told him that I would shove my trimmer up Osamas ass if he bombed my shop. What a scam, if anyone on here is dumb enough to actually pay for this you deserve to get your stuff blown up.
