This is the type of pic we are looking for.

Something of known height, like a blower or mower or truck, must be used a reference to gage the height and length of the pile.

This pic is used for demonstration purposes only.

Thank you for your participation and good luck.

A company that provides full service would be taking away the leaf pile, not leaving it on a curb.
Hey jackd, why are you doing a leaf clean up when there are still leaves in the trees?

Ron Howard: Is that... vodka... and wheat grass?
Homer: It's called a "lawnmower". I invented it. Want one?

Down here only scrubs pile leaves to the curb and leave them. Most lawn services here vacuum all there leaves. I normally get cash for leaf removal not some worthless hat. I see you have missed some leaves in the yard most of my customers would see this as unsatisfactory! I guess scrubs can get away with this type of work when they only charge 20 bucks for leaf clean up.

I will post some pics of my setup for leaf removal in the future its a little early down here for leaf cleanup. Maybe jack will take notes of a professional setup and do better in the future.

some cities offer curb side removal as part of the home owner taxes. So why incure the added expense to the home owner when they have already paid for the leaf removal in their taxes?

Unless they come pick them up everyday it would seem to me that they would blow all over the place before they are picked up.

Jack D.'s pupils are instructed NOT to vacuum the leaves w/a loader if the city provides this service for free.

You may post pics of leaf piles that you will remove with your own equipment as well as piles left curbside for city pick-up. Jack D. understands that many of the riff raff live in depressed areas where these types of services are not avail. through their local municipality.

Good luck and lets see those leaf piles!

i see your point but i agree w/ l&r. some people pay in there taxes to have curb side pick ujp so why make them pay 2 hauling fees? our city does curb side pick up and thats where most of the leaves end up, very few LCO's haul them away.

Ill have to see if I can get the pic. We made a pile last week that was 30' long about 6' wide and 3-4' deep. Took us 3 hrs. Took the Vac truck about 20 min to clean up.

Member INlawns claims to have made a pile 30' long 6' wide and 3-4' deep and then SUCKED it up with the vac truck and is now going to try and take a pic of the pile.

Jack D. never ceases to be amazed at the mental agility of LawnCare operators.

Jack D.'s winning leaf pile to be unveiled shortly.

                          Thank you for your patience.

Read what he said again Jack. You have always had a hard time understanding the written word.

He said he will have to get the pic. As in "The photo was taken and will have to get it."
