    Certified Landscape Technician
Just wondering if anyone here has this certification?

Or even PLANET's CLP (certified landscape professional)

I've been a CLT, when I send in the dues, for about 7 years now......it doesn't mean anything as I've seen complete bozos pass on the third shot. I passed first time, just like I scored 2 A's and 2 B's on my pesticide license- I'm awesome.
“There are some who, uh, feel like that, you know, the conditions are such that they can attack us there. My answer is: Bring ‘em on. We got the force necessary to deal with the security situation. “ - George W. Bush, July 2, 2003.

You won't get a lot of mileage from it.

No, especially if I just owned my own business....

...but it might be something I'd like to do regardless.

I've been told some landscape architects now require a foreman to be a CLT for their projects.

If you need it to get a job that you want, then I suppose you should get it - what are you asking us for?

If you own your own company and were wondering if it would give you a competitive advantage in the eyes of your customer - 99% of the time that answer would be NO based on my limited experience (9yrs of residential design/construction). I would take the class hours and devote them to selling more work.
